Ghader Abd Alkader Mahdi – Forward, born in 2008

Ghader Abd Alkader Mahdi is regarded as one of the most promising football talents of his generation. Despite his young age, he has already set several records in the league and impresses with his ability to score from all angles as well as his strong heading skills.

After an outstanding season with Al-Talaba, he has now taken the next step in his career by joining the capital’s and Iraq’s most prestigious club, Al-Zawraa, where he is expected to make a significant impact.

With his performances, a call-up to Iraq’s youth national team seems inevitable, and it is only a matter of time before we see him on the international stage.

يُعتبر غدير عبد القادر مهدي واحداً من أبرز المواهب الكروية في جيله. فبالرغم من صغر سنه، تمكن من تسجيل عدة أرقام قياسية في الدوري، ويتميز بقدرات تهديفية من مختلف الزوايا إضافة إلى قوته الكبيرة في ضربات الرأس.

بعد موسم مميز مع نادي الطلبة، خطا الآن خطوة جديدة في مسيرته بالانتقال إلى نادي الزوراء، النادي الأكبر والأعرق في العاصمة والعراق، حيث يتوقع أن يترك بصمة كبيرة.
